The Book Fair is back! We will celebrate Read Across America this week, so be sure to set up your eWallets for a quick and easy purchase of all your favorite titles! The book fair will be open Monday-Friday during school, with a special extended “buy time” on Tuesday until 6:00. Come get your the best books, gadgets, and gizmos at Harlan Elementary Book Fair! 📚

As February comes to an end, don’t forget about the February Family Time Challenge! Harlan FRYSC & PRI encourage all Harlan Elementary students to participate by filling out their calendars.
✅ Mark 10 days when your child read for at least 10 minutes (alone or with you).
✅ Note 3 times your family ate dinner together with no electronics.
Completed calendars are due by March 3—turn yours in to win a free book!

Free Harlan Student Ticket Challenge for the Girls 52nd District Championship Game.
The Harlan Lady Dragons will take on the HC Black Bears on Thursday, February 27th at 7:00PM at Harlan High for a chance to cut down the nets and be crowned 52nd District Champions.
As a result of some generous donations, we will award the students from one of our schools with free tickets for the game.
The school with the highest two-day attendance percentage will win free tickets for their entire school. To be eligible for a free ticket, a student must be at school all day (no tardies) on Wednesday and Thursday, February 26th and 27th.
Student tickets are $8.
We will announce the winning school on Thursday afternoon along with instructions for the winning school on how to get into the game.

The competition starts tomorrow, Wednesday, February 26th.
There will be no Dragons Beyond the Bell today, February 25th, 2025.

Reminder: Harlan Elementary School will be celebrating, "Read Across America" March 3-7th. The library will be hosting a book fair that week with extended hours on March 4th for families from 3:00-6:00pm.
