This marking period, the 4th grade students in Mrs.Stapleton’s class learned about natural resources. They learned about living & non-living resources and renewable & non-renewable resources. As a final unit product, the students painted scenery to show the different types of resources. 🖼️🎨

HES recently hosted a PRI and Willing Hearts Ceramic Mug Event for students and faculty. It was so much fun! Students and staff created their very own mugs, which will be showcased at the Literacy Night Art Showcase. Afterward, the mugs will go home with the students to be used with their families. This was a great way to bring everyone together! 🎨🖌️

Our district came together as a family to support those impacted by the recent hurricane. We appreciate everyone who brought items, and most of all, we are proud of our students for stepping up to help others in their time of need. We want to extend a special thank you to the Harlan County Friends of Animals Shelter for their large and generous donation.
The supplies you donated to Hurricane Helene victims were delivered today. In partnership with Evergreen Church, our supplies were delivered to the Bristol Motor Speedway. As the church gains more space, supplies will be readily available. Thank you for your donations! It’s a great day to be a Dragon! 🐉
