Congratulations to the Harlan High School Boys Basketball Team on their win over West Jessamine from the 12th Region in the Ted Cook Classic held at South Laurel High.
Behind the steady play of Junior Kyler McClendon who led the Dragons with 29 points, the Green Dragons took an early lead but had to fight from behind to overcome a double digit deficit.
Eighth grader, Trenton Cole nailed a long 3 pointer in the waning minute of the game to give the Dragons a one point lead they never relinquished. The Dragons held on to win 81-79.
Kyler McClendon was named the Ted Cook Classic MVP.
The Dragons will return to action ON Tuesday, December 6th in the WYMT Classic where they will take on the Bulldogs of Hazard.
