Due to the high rates of student illness and absenteeism the Harlan Independent School District will utilize NTI or Dragon Days 1, 2, and 3 on Friday, November 18th, and Monday, November 21 and November 22nd.
As always, teachers and staff members will be working with students during these days to complete relevant assignments. Staff members will be engaged with students and will be available to support families during the regularly scheduled school day. If any student or family needs assistance you may visit or call the school for support (606) 573-8700.
All regularly scheduled extra and co-curricular activities will go on as planned during this time.

The Harlan Elementary School 3/4th grade boys basketball team traveled to Harrogate, Tennessee, to watch a basketball game! Harlan High School’s standout alum, Jordan Akal, signed with King University to play basketball at the collegiate level. Students loved watching the game and seeing Jordan play again! ❤️💙💚🏀

There will be no Dragons Beyond the Bell, Tuesday, November 15th.
Just a reminder that Fall Ball tickets are on sale in Mrs. Freyer's room this week for $15. They will be $20 at the door.
Fall Ball is a semi-formal dance for HHS students in grades 9-12 that will be held on Saturday, November 19th in the Harlan Elementary gym. The Fall Ball is a fundraiser for the 2023 Junior/Senior Prom.
