We’re proud of our HS Cross Country runners for their showing at the SEKC Championship yesterday!
Halle Cox and Connor Collins came out strong and had personal records!
Dylan Cox placed 15th and Brayden Howard placed 25th out of the top 25 boys!
Harper Carmical placed 3rd and made the All SEKC Team, Chloe Schwenke placed 11th, Abbie Jones placed 18th, and Mia Pace placed 19th out of the top 25 girls!

We are just days away from our HHS Track & Field/XC reunion where we will honor some of our most accomplished student-athletes in school history.
Please join us on Friday, October 7th during Harlan High vs Lynn Camp football game where we will celebrate our school and state champions during halftime. Harlan High School has a long history of championship athletes who have combined to win 28 Championship Medals with 11 Individual State Champions.

Harlan Elementary School‘s Cancer Walk is a fundraiser for the National Cancer Society. Students donated $1 to walk through town to raise awareness and show our support in the fight against cancer. Thank you to our Dragon families for supporting a wonderful cause. 💕🐉#fightlikeadragon

Students in Ms. Wilson’s Health & PE classes had a visit from Heather Saylor, an RN at Harlan ARH. Her presentation was called Brain Protectors and focuses on stroke signs and symptoms. Students learned B.E.F.A.S.T. to evaluate whether a person could be having a stroke or not. The presentation was very informative and engaging for the students. Each student received a certificate stating they became a “Certified Brain Protector” at the conclusion of the lesson.
